Hermes 3000 Typewriter
Description: The Hermes 3000 typewriter is often seen as one of the best typewriters to add to any collection because of its crisp typing action, smooth carriage, and soft edged keys that cup your fingertips.
It is a Swiss designed typewriter that went through 3 major iterations in design in its history. Overall, the Hermes 3000 was a popular machine among writers like Kerouac, Plath, and Sam Sheppard.
This 70's Hermes 3000 is one of the later designs of the machine, and has a very unique colour scheme which is not often found. There are currently only 5 of them noted on the typewriter database making it quite rare among the hundreds of others listed.
This typewriter has been cleaned, tuned up, and a new black/red ribbon installed. It has its original snap on lid in good condition.
A wonderful writers tool and collectors piece!
