Royal Varsity (UB) Typewriter
Description: A small and stylish early portable typewriter. Originally designed to suit the needs of college and university students looking to type on the go and for a lower cost than many of the other models available at the time.
Black crinkle/foil finish with black glossy trim that contours the machine. Glass keys with chrome trim.
Machine is light, easy to use and looks great on display. A very elegant little machine.
This machine has been cleaned, tuned up, and a new BLACK ribbon installed. It is being sold with its original case and warranty card from 1940 in very good condition.

Additional Notations: Machine is in great shape for its age! It feed paper and works well. Typing is a bit light and the roller(platen) is a bit on the hard side. All-in-all a nice collectors machine or casual use machine.
