The Good Companion 1 made in Leicester England in 1938. A gorgeous black enamel machine with lots of decadent chrome accents that tastefully set this machine apart as one of the classiest.
A gorgeous original emblem/crest on the right side with lion and steed ('dieu et mon droit' by appointment).
Machine has been cleaned, a new red/black ribbon installed. This machine is being sold with the original case/lid combo. The base of the case is fastened to the machine as per the 'laptop' design but can be removed when you want to display it or set it up at its forever home.
